JGF runs Junior Golf in Kenya and the purpose of the JGF is to promote junior golf participation and competition for boys and girls from the ages of five to eighteen. The JGF is dedicated to providing junior golfers the opportunity to play golf competitively.

Junior Golf Foundation in Kenya is alive and producing Juniors of excellence, with golf etiquette and if enough finances for Coaching is realised, good golfers will continue to be developed and the manifest of producing a “Simba” on tour will not be beyond reach.

How to Join

JGF MEMBERSHIP

DOWNLOAD APPLICATION FORM

JGF Junior membership is open to all junior golfers who are, for the duration of that year, under the age of 19 years.

BIRTH CERTIFICATE / PASSPORT COPY

You must submit a copy of your birth certificate or passport with the application form.

PASSPORT PHOTO

You must also submit two passport photos with your application form.

MEMBERSHIP FEE

Membership Fees are Ksh1,000 per year. Renewal of membership is due on or before the end of February of each year.

JGF CARD

Once you have submitted all documentation your JGF Card will be produced.

PLAY

Once you have your JGF Card you will be entitled to play golf at any KGU affiliated golf club in the country, with a minimum green fee of Kshs 120 per person.

AJGC Tunisia

The biggest junior tournament in Africa, The All Africa Junior Golf Challenge took place at Golf Course El Kantaoui Sousse in Tunisia at the end of March. With tough windy conditions our boys team finished 5th overall.

Mathew Wahome -3 at the Kenya Open RD1

At this years Barclays Kenya Open, top junior golfer, Mathew Wahome showed the Pros how its done in the first round of the Challenge Tour event and carded an impressive -3 in his opening round. He unfortunately missed the cut by two shots but JGF is still extremely proud of him!
